Monterey Elite 23

Monterey Boats has four decades of design, development, engineering and building boats.

In all that time, the independently owned and family-operated company has relied on new product development and customer relations to propel it to a well-deserved, front-runner position in the industry. Continuing on this course, Monterey presents its new Elite 23.

“The Elite series is about redefining the bowrider/ dayboat market and giving the consumer something they have been asking for,” says Mason Cummings, VP of design & engineering.

The Elite 23 is built on the award-winning Elite Series VST (Vertical Stem Technology) hull, delivering a deep-V running surface engineered for efficient planing, precise tracking and confident performance without compromising ride comfort. Complementing this is a long list of standard equipment, including docking lights, a molded-in swim platform with a telescoping ladder and hatch, a hinged wakeboard tower, a Fusion stereo, power-assisted steering with tilt wheel and a porta-potti, among others. Add options such as a pedestal cockpit table, an electric toilet, a Simrad NSX 15-inch GPS/chartplotter with transducer, a bow shade and a Seakeeper Ride 450, and your Elite 23 becomes a personal statement of ownership.

“The VST hull provides an amazing ride that competes with much larger hulls,” Cummings says. “It allows the boat to plane quickly with minimal bow rise and span waves with its longer running surface and sharp entry.”

The Elite 23 is designed with excellent sightlines, dynamic acceleration from the sterndrive, and the head compartment is spacious for a boat of this size.
