Nimbus Group is streamlining its Nimbus model lineup with a new heritage-inspired naming strategy designed to make the range easier to understand for customers and dealers. The update reintroduces classic descriptors such as Sport Cruiser and Coupé Cruiser, replacing the former WTC and Coupé series labels, to better reflect each boat’s character and Scandinavian design heritage dating back to 1968.

In addition, all model lengths will be expressed in feet instead of meters to align with international boating standards and improve global consistency. The rollout begins with Sport Cruiser 42, formerly part of the WTC 12 series, marking the first model under the revised structure. Boats in the WTC series will consistently be renamed Sport Cruiser, and boats in the Coupé series will revert to the original name Coupé Cruiser. The Sport Cruiser series will include the models Sport Weekender, Sport Tender and Sport Coupé. Nimbus says the goal is to simplify choice while strengthening clarity and brand identity.
