Australian luxury yacht builder Riviera has unveiled the new 5000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition, a reimagined 50-foot model that blends contemporary luxury, blue-water capability and advanced technology. Inspired by Riviera’s original 5000 Sport Yacht, which launched in 2009, the new model features an expansive aft deck with alfresco galley, transom lounge and electric sunroof, plus a hydraulic swim platform that creates a private beach-club experience. A tender garage accommodates a 2.8-meter tender and watersports gear.
Inside, the salon connects seamlessly with the aft deck, while the accommodation deck offers two- or three-stateroom layouts, including a full-beam owner’s suite. Technology options include Sentinel remote monitoring, Volvo Penta Assisted Docking, Seakeeper stabilization, solar charging and Starlink connectivity. Twin Volvo Penta D8 IPS 800 engines deliver 600 hp each. Handcrafted on Australia’s Gold Coast, the 5000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is slated for its world premiere in late 2026.
