Sea Tow has launched a fully redesigned mobile app, giving boaters faster access to on-water assistance and essential marine information. Available free for iOS and Android devices, the updated app features real-time wind conditions, radar, marine forecasts, severe weather alerts, membership management tools and exclusive video and blog content.
The app’s standout feature is its streamlined assistance request function, which automatically shares a boater’s GPS location to help Sea Tow responders quickly pinpoint their position on the water. According to Sea Tow VP of Technology Shaun Knoll, the app is designed to reduce uncertainty during assistance calls while providing boaters with everyday navigation and weather resources.
Sea Tow says the app is its most comprehensive digital tool yet, combining safety, weather and service features into a single platform for boaters.
