More, for those that demand more.

by Capt. Tom Serio

The word “extreme” comes to mind when looking at the Tigé Boats RZX. But you don’t have to be an elite extremist to maximize the fun and flair of this new model.

Built for enjoying watersports, the RZX boasts more surf, more wake and more style — and it’s delivering on that promise. A patented Convex V Hull pulls the RZX deeper into the water, creating a clean and perfectly formed wake. Coupled with the Raptor 440 or 575 engines, the torque produces a smooth start regardless of how hard it’s pushed or how many passengers are onboard.

One focal point for Tigé is surfing, and they have created the TAPS 3 Surf System and Surf Link™ remote, allowing the person surfing to essentially change the signature of the wake just by pressing a button. How cool!

It’s a straight run from stem to stern, with padded cushions in the spacious open bow area, side seating and filler aft cushion in the cockpit, and a walk-thru transom flanked by sunpads. A helm seat keeps the captain in control, as do the electronic throttles and Tigé Touch2 multi-system, single interface touchscreen. Set favorite running angles for optimum surf waves and wakeboard settings.

Don’t miss the features of this 23-footer, including the Alpha Z Tower, which is collapsible when towing or storing and fitted with Wet Sounds speakers, board storage and more. From a stability and security standpoint, there’s 3,000 pounds of ballast and the strongest hull in the industry.

Designed with surfers and skiers in mind, Tigé has a center reversible seat for the observer and also a transom Activity Center, conducive for monitoring those in the water, prepping the next rider or just for chilling with a beverage on the oversized swim platform. Add in the cockpit table, Bimini top and tower lights for a more relaxed cruise.

“Our ambition has been to make a strong new statement, while also staying true to Tigé’s signature performance, experience-driven technology and fresh design style,” states Charlie Pigeon, founder and CEO of Tigé Boats. “The RZX is uniquely superior in all aspects.”
