savvy navvy, the “Google Maps for boaters” and Waterway Guide, one of the most trusted resources for cruising boaters, recently announced a new partnership that will include Waterway Guide’s information on over 4,000 marinas and thousands of anchorages in the savvy navvy app.

“One of the most significant factors in deciding where to go with your boat is reviews from other boaters. That’s why we’re super excited about our latest integration in our savvy navvy app in the U.S. giving marina and anchorage information from Waterway Guide. With a wealth of information on all marinas and anchorages and honest reviews, it’s an amazing addition to our offering for our growing American customer base,” says Jelte Liebrand, CEO and founder of savvy navvy. The navigation app has grown by 132% this year in the U.S., supplying thousands of boaters with helpful navigation information.

The new partnership is part of Waterway Guide’s hybrid resource allowing boaters print and digital solutions to help in planning their journeys. “At Waterway Guide we strive to put our trusted and verified content in boaters’ hands to improve their experience, from planning and research to actively navigating,” says President of Waterway Guide Media Graham Jones. “We have a wealth of knowledge and content that is continuously updated by a network of on-the-water contributors, marina partners, NOAA data, our own team and crowd-sourced information. We are impressed by the functionality savvy navvy provides boaters. This partnership shows their commitment to providing a great product and adds tremendous value to their platform.”
